1. Overview
CelebDonation.com is a fundraising platform that collaborates with public figures to host Campaigns where fans can support a good cause and get the chance to receive exclusive memorabilia or experiences. A portion of the proceeds, after operational costs, is donated to a charity chosen by the participating celebrity.
2. Eligibility
- Supporters must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your country of residence).
- Campaigns are open worldwide, unless restricted or prohibited by local laws. It is the Supporter’s responsibility to ensure that participation does not violate local rules in their jurisdiction.
- Employees of CelebDonation ApS, participating celebrities, their official representatives, immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the Campaign are not eligible to participate.
3. Campaign Period
- Each Campaign will have a defined opening and closing date specified on the individual Campaign page.
- Participations registered after the stated closing time will not be counted.
4. How to Participate
- Supporters may participate multiple times, subject to any specific limits stated on the Campaign page.
- To participate, individuals may make one or more contributions via the CelebDonation platform.
- Alternative Free Participation: Where required by law to ensure the Campaign operates as a compliant prize draw and not an illegal lottery, a free route of participation ("No purchase necessary") will be made available on the Campaign page. All participations, whether paid or free, will be treated equally and have an equal chance of being selected.
- User Question: ⚠️ Only participations that include a correct answer to the required skill-based user question will be included in the final draw. Incorrect answers are automatically disqualified. The purpose of this question is to ensure the Campaign is a skill-based allocation rather than a pure game of chance.
5. Rewards & Listings
- All memorabilia and experiences listed on the site are verified and endorsed by the respective celebrity or their official representative.
- Items are provided as-is and described to the best of our knowledge. Quantities are limited, and availability is not guaranteed.
- Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered unless explicitly stated.
- CelebDonation reserves the right to substitute a reward with another of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
6. Payment & Donations
- Payments are processed securely via trusted third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
- After applicable costs (platform fees, transaction costs, shipping, and handling), the net proceeds are donated to the charity chosen by the celebrity.
- CelebDonation works only with verified charities and ensures transparency in the donation process. Confirmations may be provided upon reasonable request.
7. Winner Selection & Notification
- Following the closing date, the recipient(s) will be selected randomly from all eligible participations (i.e., those who correctly answered the user question). The draw process is secure, transparent, and final.
- The selected Supporter(s) will be contacted directly via the email or phone number provided. Supporters are advised to check their spam or junk folders to ensure they do not miss a notification.
- If a selected Supporter cannot be reached or does not respond within 14 days of the initial contact, CelebDonation reserves the right to select an alternative recipient at random from the remaining eligible participations.
8. Shipping & Fulfilment
- Shipping timelines are provided per Campaign.
- CelebDonation and the participating celebrity are not responsible for delays, failures in delivery, or losses caused by couriers, customs, or inaccurate shipping details provided by the Supporter.
9. Refunds & Returns
- Due to the charitable nature of the Campaigns and the exclusivity of the items, all contributions are final.
- Refunds or returns are only considered if an item is damaged upon arrival or significantly not as described. Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence.
10. Disqualification
- CelebDonation reserves the right to disqualify any Supporter where there are reasonable grounds to believe they have breached these Terms or acted in a fraudulent, dishonest, or unfair manner.
- This includes, but is not limited to, tampering with the participation process, using automated systems (bots), or attempting to manipulate the outcome of the Campaign.
11. Liability
- Neither CelebDonation nor the participating celebrity accepts responsibility for participations not successfully completed due to technical faults, system failures, or network issues beyond our control.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, CelebDonation shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Campaign or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the reward.
12. Transparency & Data Protection
- By participating, Supporters consent to the use of their personal data for the purposes of managing the Campaign and fulfilling the reward, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- To ensure fairness and transparency, the surname and country/county of the selected recipient may be obtained by sending a request to CelebDonation within 14 days of the closing date. If a recipient objects to their information being published, they must notify us when claiming the item. (Note: We may still be required to provide this information to relevant regulatory authorities upon request).
13. General & Right to Cancel
- CelebDonation reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend any Campaign where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond our control (Force Majeure).
- We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or business practice. Updates will be effective once posted. Continued use of the site implies acceptance.
14. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark (as the registered jurisdiction of CelebDonation ApS), unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence provide otherwise. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
